Buy-Side M&A for an Industrial Component Manufacturer
Challenge: A European industrial component manufacturer wanted to enter the US market to cross-sell to existing clients and find new ones. After identifying a greenfield approach as too lengthy and complex, the company sought an expert partner to help identify, approach, and negotiate with potential acquisition targets.
Solution: Our team guided a structured acquisition search, beginning with defining key criteria in alignment with management's goals. We developed an initial "long list" of over 3,000 potential candidates and screened it down to approximately 100 qualified targets. We then led direct outreach, facilitated 15 site visits, and managed advanced discussions with three finalists, providing full support through valuation, negotiation, and closing.
Result: The process culminated in a successful transaction that established our client's strategic foothold in the US market. The client also gained a comprehensive database of market participants, creating a valuable pipeline for future bolt-on acquisitions.


Value Maximization in a Corporate Divestiture for an Industrial Conglomerate
Challenge: A Public company aimed to divest a subsidiary that manufactured CPVC pipes and fittings. Our firm was engaged to lead the divestiture process, with a mandate to maximize transaction value while ensuring speed and execution certainty.
